An Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at UCSF/East Bay Surgery – retired from the East Bay Residency Program where he worked at the county hospital as a Surgical Oncologist. He worked with Kaiser for 22 years and specialized in Breast Cancer and Melanoma. His current research includes Cervical Cancer screening.

LifeMoves is the largest provider of interim housing and services for homelessness in Silicon Valley. With 26 shelter and service sites from Daly City to San José (their two newest sites are Mountain View and Half Moon Bay), LifeMoves gives our neighbors experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management through both site-based programs and community outreach.

Lindsay Carpenter, a Rotarian from our neighboring Los Altos Rotary Club. Lindsay was on the team that put together the highly successful Bears of Los Altos project last year. Carol Dabb, Roy Lave and Stan Scardino were the members in charge of the Bear Project, which took inspiration from the Chicago Cow Parade some 20 years ago, a public art exhibit that displayed painted cows around some of the world’s biggest cities and was adapted to express California pride.
